That's what I get for trying to finish the newsletter at 2am...

Hey all, sorry for the extra email, but I woke up realizing that I'd forgotten to actually fill out the events section before I sent out the newsletter last night 😂

Ordinarily I'd let it go, but in this case there was something coming up soon that I really wanted to boost:

The Community Garden is having a big work day on Saturday, June 27, from 9:30 AM–1:30 PM. It's located over in Whitehall next to City Hall. They're going to be leveling the site and building some stone pathways, and that's the sort of job that gets a LOT easier with a bunch of people.

Nate and I have responsibilities down at the Artisan Market on Saturdays, so we can't help out directly, but what we can do is sweeten the pot for volunteers. So if you go help out at the Garden, swing by our shop afterwards and we'll give you some Hour tokens good towards anything in the shop, just like we would if you were helping out with one of the projects that we organize. I'm also going to see if I can get some tokens over to Amber today so that she can give them out directly.

This Community Garden is going to be a huge step towards local food security, and the folks organizing it have helped us split a lot of firewood for the Sugarbush, so let's show up for them in return!
