Artisan Market Preview

Hey all! It seemed like folks found this helpful last time, so here's a preview of what we'll be doing tomorrow at the Artisan Market:

We're still making ecobricks, so bring down any plastic shopping bags or empty 2L bottles you've got lying around. One of the big tasks at this stage is compressing the bags in underweight bottles to make room for more, so if you want to work out some anger by hitting a dowel with a rubber mallet, we could definitely use the help.

As a backup project in case we don't have enough plastic bags, we've got lots of 10-foot lengths of paracord and we'll be showing people how to wrap them into neat little bundles that are easy to carry without getting tangled. We go through a LOT of these during maple syrup season, so it's a useful skill to have.

On the new products front, we've got hyper-local wildflower seeds, with Daisies from the outskirts of the Artisan Market itself, and Feverfew grown from wild plants on Glendale St. These are both very low-maintenance plants, and the seeds can be scattered anywhere you've got bare soil between now and the onset of winter.

Lastly, we've got three small baskets, perfect for keeping shelves tidy or using as water bottle holders. I haven't gotten them tagged yet, but I'd guess they're all in the 2-3 hour range.

So that's what you can expect at the Artisan Market this week! Hope to see you there.
